10 tips to help manage your alcohol consumption
This is not a post encouraging you to give up alcohol. Alcohol can be fun when consumed in moderation and responsibly. This is just for those who maybe struggle with over consumption of alcohol. Making tiny changes can have a big impact on your overall health. I have now given up alcohol for half a year and I have defiantly noticed the benefits of this, which include, better sleep, brighter mood, more energy and not to mention I saved a lot of money which I may have previously spent on alcohol. This is just 10 tips to help those who have a desire to reduce their alcohol intake. I suggest that you look at the ones that appeal to you and begin by trying to do just one of them a week.

Rather than focus on giving something up, try thinking about starting something new- Be positive, focus on the new opportunities that reducing your alcohol consumption will provide you with.

Avoid all or nothing thinking- Just because you’ve had a drink or two doesn’t mean that you then have to proceed to then order another 10 drinks and also buy a naggin on the way to the club, waking up the next morning remembering nothing from the night before.

Take it each day at a time- This is similar to the all or nothing thinking, this isn’t going to happen overnight. You will inevitable have slipups, and that’s ok. Being hard on yourself isn’t going to help anything it will only make matters worse.
