How to make healthy French toast
Makes 1 serving
Prepared in 5 mins (chill for 6 hours)
Ingredients
Method

1 large egg

125ml milk (your preference)

Cinnamon
-
2 slices of bread (your preference)

100g blueberries
-
125g diced strawberries
-
Maple syrup
-
Pinch of lemon zest, to serve

Whisk together the eggs, milk and cinnamon until well combined.

Heat a non-stick fry pan over medium heat and spray lightly with cooking spray.

Dip the bread in the egg mixture, turning to coat both sides evenly.

Cook the bread slices for 2-3 minutes on each side until lightly browned.

Serve the French toast topped with the fruit and drizzle with maple syrup and lemon zest.
